Project SEED, an American Chemical Society (ACS) and MSU sponsored program, allows economically disadvantaged High School students to be involved in research during the summer.  

ACS-U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad at MSU

Project SEED

The U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO) program is a chemistry competition for high school students. The purpose of the competition is to stimulate young people to achieve excellence in chemistry. The American Chemical Society has sponsored the program since 1984.

MSU Grandparents University Chemistry Events

Grandparents University

Since 2005, Michigan State University welcomes youth ages 8 to 12 and their grandparents to campus for a three-day event during the summer.  Grandparents University allows for both the adults and the kids to participate in unique university classes in order to explore what MSU has to offer.
